Takehashi, Roppongi たけはし六本木

If chicken is your thing then I have the place for you! This izakaya in Roppongi serves no meat but organic chicken including, of course, lots of yakitori but also karaage and vegetable dishes. The menu is quite limited and, be warned, some dishes feature very lightly cooked chicken (but I have lived to tell the tale).

I have been twice and, to be honest, the first visit was better. The second visit was marred by truly inattentive service and a complete failure to clear plates or issue new ones.

Still, it's probably worth a visit for their yummy chicken wing karaage - the source of my forgiveness.
